EXO’s Tao Says He Takes Photos to Keep Record of His Memories

On September 29, creative lifestyle magazine The Celebrity released an interview and pictorial featuring EXO member Tao.
In the pictorial, Tao transforms into a ‘fashion photographer’ and shows off his own distinct charms. He can be seen posing with a camera in hand, as he takes on a variety of angles to photograph model Baek Ji Won.
During the interview following the photo shoot, Tao shared what photographs mean to him: “To me, photos have the meaning of recording. It’s my own database to keep record of the precious times that are memories.”
On his thoughts of becoming a ‘fashion photographer,’ Tao expressed, “I was a bit nervous because I’ve never really had experience taking photos of anyone other than the [EXO] members or the close friends around me.”
Model Baek Ji Won complimented Tao’s ability to choose the best cuts and revealed, “I’ve worked with a lot of photographers in the past, but this was a new and different experience.”

EXO shared their thoughts about their perfect girl.

On the September 26th episode “EXO 902014,” DJ DOC appeared as the episode’s guest where, in one segment, discussed with EXO about each other’s perfect girl.

Sehun stated, “I like arrogant, confident women,” while Kai stated that he likes cute girls such as Shin Minah from her drama “My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox.”

Upon talking with DJ DOC about their song and view of the perfect girl, they all agreed to the fact that long, natural hair is every man’s dream.

EXO-M APPEARS IN NEW CF FOR CHINESE COMPANY MEILISHUO

Get ready to be swept away by EXO-M as they show off their adorable charms in their CF for Meilishuo.

EXO-M has joined together with popular e-commerce site Meilishuo in making a CF for their fall and winter collections.

Meilishuo.com is a website in China that is similar to Pinterest. They offer personalized clothing and skin-care products for women. Users search through the site and when they click on something they like, they are re-directed to a third party site where they can make their purchases.

In the CF, the EXO-M members are seen walking around with their phones and using the Meilishuo website to change the clothes of women on the street. In the end, Luhan even changes the clothes of his fellow members, much to their surprise.

Netizens criticize SM Entertainment for EXO Luhan’s health conditions

 

 

After announcing that he will be absent in EXO’s concert in Thailand due to exhaustion, netizens have taken it online and criticized SM Entertainment for Luhan’s condition. 

Previously, it was reported that EXO’s Luhan apologized through his Weibo account for his absence on EXO’s concert in Thailand due to health-related reasons.

SM Entertainment officials stated that,

"Luhan, who has recently visited the hospital due to headaches and insomnia, was recommended to rest and to restrain from long flights by the doctor," and explained that

"in order to protect the artist, Luhan will rest before joining back to future schedules."

Upon reading the article, the Korean netizens have started to criticize SM Entertainment for overworking their artists. Comments such as, 

"SM, stop over working your artists so much, do you think they are some kind of robot?" 

"Let them sleep SM," 

"Rest well :( Take care of your health!!" and more were posted online. 

EXO is currently pushing through with their “EXO FROM. EXOPLANET #1- THE LOST PLANET” concert tour which was launched in South Korea last May 23rd and 24th. 

They are set to be in Bangkok, Thailand on September 13th and 14th before heading on to Beijing, China on September 20th and 21st.

EXO Takes Wacky Sticker Photo with CLON, DJ DOC, and Koyote on “EXO 90:2014″

EXO gets to meet DJ DOC, CLON, and Koyote in the upcoming episode of Mnet’s “EXO 90:2014″ set to air on September 26.
On this episode, EXO dedicates the show to “90′s Dance” and invites the “’90s Trending Dancers” DJ DOC’s Kim Chang Ryul, CLON’s Goo Joon Yup, and Koyote’s Kim Jong Min.
The upcoming episode grabbed the attention of many fans through the release of the sticker photo wherein Sehun, Chanyeol, Kai, Baekhyun, and Suho of EXO are shown squeezing in the photobooth and making funny faces together with their guests DJ DOC’s Kim Chang Ryul, CLON’s Goo Joon Yup, and Koyote’s Kim Jong Min. All eight guys tried their best to make their faces fit in the frame and showed good chemistry as they posed for the camera.
“Throughout the filming (of the episode), everyone was laughing nonstop and after the filming, each one scrambled to take the sticker photo (as remembrance),” said the producer of “EXO 90:2014.”
“It was more enjoyable than any of the previous episodes so we’re anticipating the broadcast,” added the producer.
The “’90s Dance Special” episode of “EXO 90:2014″ airs on September 26, 8 p.m. (KST) on Mnet.

The beautiful faces of SM Entertainment artists Go Ara, f(x)’s Victoria, Super Junior-M’s Henry, and EXO’s Tao and Xiumin, and Red Velvet’s Seulgi andIrene have graced the pages of the October issue of Harper’s Bazaarmagazine.

The fashion editorial featured the seven SM Entertainment artists in sophisticated and stylish looks as they modeled Swarovski’s Stardust jewelry.

Each of the artist flaunted the charms of the Swarovski Stardust with their expressions and poses. Go Ara looks chic in her black sleeveless top and pants which gives off a business casual vibe, f(x)’s Victoria looks luxurious in her fur wrap, Super Junior-M’s Henry gives off a sophisticated, manly vibe, and EXO’s Tao and Xiumin as well as Red Velvet’s Seulgi and Irene gave off stylish and youthful charm.

EXO’s D.O. Talks about Working with Famous Actors in Upcoming Movie “Cart”

A lot of idols nowadays are not only showing off their singing talents but their acting talents as well. One of the idol actors who has proven his acting ability isEXO vocalist D.O, who goes by the name Do Kyung Soo on his acting stints. The EXO member already had his small screen debut for the recently-wrapped-up SBS drama “It’s Okay, It’s Love,” and his big-screen debut is nearing as well.

In an interview with X Sports News, D.O was asked how it was working with big-name actors especially for his big-screen debut with “Cart,” on which he responded, “I was very nervous acting with such big seniors. However, all of them gave me lots of support and I managed to learn a lot from them and film the movie successfully. One of the seniors who helped me a lot is Yeom Jung Ah who became somewhat of like a mother to me (on set), and I was able to film comfortably and forget my nervousness.”

D.O will be playing Choi Tae Yeong, the teenage son of main character Yeon Hee, played by actress Yeom Jung Ah. “Cart” will be shown nationwide this coming November.

EXO’s Sehun and Chanyeol Wish Fellow Member Chen a Happy Birthday

The EXO members showed their love for each other recently for Chen’s birthday. Chen was born September 21, 1992.

On September 21, Sehun uploaded a funny photo of Chen onto his personal Instagram with the message, “Funky Chen, Jong Dae [Chen’s real name] hyung, happy birthday. I love you. You’re the best.” In the blurry photo, Chen can be seen just lying on the ground with an expression that is funny at the particular angle.

Chanyeol also uploaded a photo of Chen onto his Instagram with the message, “Funky Chen! My friend Jong Dae happy birthday! Let’s overcome anything that comes our way no matter what! I love you!” His photo of Chen brought laughter as it was a very close up angle of Chen’s face.

Meanwhile, EXO has a concert, “EXO From EXO Planet #1 – The Lost Planet,” scheduled for the same day at Beijing’s Master Card Center.

It has been announced that the 2014 MBC Korean Music Wave is making its way to China!

For the very first time, a large-scale joint K-Pop concert will be opening up in Beijing this year. On October 25, an amazing lineup of idol groups are set to heat up the stage: EXO, Girls’ Generation, BEAST, SISTAR, 4Minute, 2PM,miss A, CNBLUE, INFINITE, B.A.P, B1A4, Teen Top, ZE:A, Tasty, T-ara, andCrayon Pop.

Although SMTOWN concerts have previously been hosted in Beijing, this will be the first ever concert of this scale that will feature a variety of groups.

Meanwhile, MBC’s Korean Music Wave has opened up in Incheon, Malaysia, Thailand, and Japan in the past.

INFINITE’s Sungjong, EXO’s Chen, Brown Eyed Girls’ Gain, and More Participate in NYLON Korea’s 6th Anniversary Photo Shoot

A special video clip featuring EXO’s Chen, Brown Eyed Girls’ Gain, INFINITE’s Sungjong, f(x)’s Amber, and actress Yoon Seung Ah was released on September 18 through NYLON Korea‘s official YouTube account.
The video clip showed the celebrities sending their congratulatory messages to NYLON Korea which is celebrating its 6th anniversary. Some behind-the-scenes footage from the celebrities’ photo shoot for the magazine were also shown.
A sneak peek of the photo shoots revealed EXO’s Chen posing on a ping-pong table, Brown Eyed Girls’ Gain having a pure yet sensual all-white photo shoot, INFINITE’s Sungjong showing off his youthful image, f(x)’s Amber  rocking her black and white outfit, and actress Yoon Seung Ah looking ready for autumn in her cozy sweater.

Zhang Li Yin Releases Music Video for “Not Alone” Featuring EXO’s Tao and f(x)’s Victoria

Zhang Li Yin has released a music video for her new ballad single “Not Alone“. Tao of EXO and Victoria of f(x) star in the music video, picking up thee roles they previously played in the music video for Zhang Li Yin’s “Agape.”
The story of the “Not Alone” music video picks up where “Agape” left off. Tao, who serves time for protecting Victoria from a gang, is seen going to all the places that had a significance to his parents. At the end of the video, Tao is a firefighter, continuing a job for which his father (portrayed by Song Jae Rim in flashbacks) has sacrificed himself.

CHINESE MEDIA REPORT RUMORS THAT KRIS (WU YIFAN) TO STAR IN ANOTHER CHINESE MOVIE

Chinese media sources have reported rumors that Kris (Wu Yifan) may be starring in another Chinese movie.

It was reported in Chinese media that Kris could be starring in yet another Chinese movie, a remake of the popular historical drama series “Scarlet Heart” or “Startling by Each Step.” 

He as well as actress Zanilia Zhao Liying have been rumored to be casted as the two leads. Zhao Liying has starred in various other historical-themed works such as “New My Fair Princess,” “Legend of Lu Zhen” and “Boss & Me.” The rumors originate from Weibo posts that reveal the updated cast. 

Wang Xiaodai: “The movie version of ‘Scarlet Heart’ will cast Zhao Liying as Ruoxi with the Fourth Prince still a secret!”

Entertainment Gossip Commentator: “The movie rendition of ‘Scarlet Heart’ will begin filming at the end of the year! Ruoxi is said to be played by Zhao Liying and the Fourth Prince is very likely to be Wu Yifan. Wu Yifan has been so busy lately! But why is Ruoxi Zhao Liying, is it going to be ruined?”

Chinese media sources have reported rumors that Kris (Wu Yifan) may be starring in another Chinese movie.

The drama “Scarlet Heart” is a historical period drama with a time-warp premise. After a traffic accident, the female lead from the 21st century finds herself in the dynastic period amidst a power struggle over succession. Zhao Liying is set to play the role of the spunky female lead while Kris is rumored to play her love interest, a prince of the era. 

Despite Kris’ popularity, fans have been objecting to this casting, stating that his age would not match the profile of the character he is set to play. Some do so in loyalty to the original drama cast, stating they will only accept Nicky Wu and Liu Shishi as these roles. Objection towards Zhao Liyang’s casting have also arisen as fans have doubts about her performance, expressing suspicious as to why she was chosen for the role. 

The movie is set to begin filming at the end of this year. 

In related news, Kris recently attended the premier for “Somewhere Only We Know” and also participated in the soundtrack for “Tiny Times 3.”

Top model Miranda Kerr is receiving attention after she began following EXO member Sehun’s Instagram account on September 18. It is known amongst fans that Sehun has previously mentioned Miranda Kerr as his ideal type numerous times in the past, through interviews and such.

Although Sehun only follows his fellow group members on SNS now, he initially followed the model when he first created his account. Knowing all of this, EXO fans are currently leaving greetings and messages of thanks in English on Miranda Kerr’s Instagram account.

After finding out that the world famous model is following the EXO member, many people are wondering how she came to know of Sehun and if there is a possibility of interaction between them on SNS in the future.

Luhan to Return to the Stage with EXO After Recovering from Problems with Sleep and Exhaustion

It has been revealed that EXO’s Luhan will be returning to the stage to perform with his fellow group members at their Beijing concert after recovering his health condition.

Recently, Luhan was unable to participate in the Thailand stop of the group’s “EXO FROM. EXOPLANET #1 – The Lost Planet” tour due to his deteriorating health caused by headaches and a sleeping disorder. However, it appears that he has improved his condition and will be joining his members at the Beijing stop on September 20 and 21.

On September 18, a representative of SM Entertainment told MyDaily, “Luhan, who has been resting, will join the Beijing concert this weekend.” Luhan made the decision to perform at this upcoming concert, as it is taking place in his hometown, which makes it especially meaningful for him.

On September 15, SM Entertainment released a photo shoot of EXO in Berlin, in which the members of EXO are seen enjoying themselves on a sunny day in the beautiful European city.
In the photo shoot, the boys of the popular SM boy group can be seen in a variety of settings around Berlin such as the Tiergarten Park and a local restaurant. Wearing various fashionable fall items like denim jackets and leather jackets, the boys look like fashion models in the photo shoot, showing off their incredibly good looks.
